Tottenham have accelerated their efforts to sign Randal Kolo Muani from Paris Saint-Germain in the "last 48 hours" to beat competition from Juventus, according to Mirko Di Natale.

The Italian journalist, who focuses on Juventus, reported via his personal X account on Thursday (9 January) morning that Spurs want to wrap up the France international's signing on loan with a £50million option as soon as possible.

Ange Postecoglou has already spoken to the 26-year-old about the transfer and given him assurances about playing time.

Kolo Muani, meanwhile, has given thought to his options and could make a decision as early as "today" (9 January).

Tottenham to win Randal Kolo Muani chase as Postecoglou talks emerge

Spurs announced the signing of Antonin Kinsky from Sparta Prague just five days into the winter transfer window and are expected to strengthen their squad further in the coming weeks.

With the likes of Marcus Rashford linked with a move to North London [Daily Mail], it is evident that Postecoglou wants to add another attacker to his ranks.

Timo Werner has failed to impress during his second loan stint with Tottenham, scoring just once in 25 appearances across all competitions.

The arrival of a player of Kolo Muani's calibre will surely signal the end of the Germany international's time with the Premier League club.

It is worth noting that Tottenham do not have any PSR concerns [Daily Mail], which means including a £50m option to make Kolo Muani's loan permanent should not be a problem.

The same may not be true for Manchester United - another interested party, who are forced to reluctantly consider offers for the likes of Kobbie Mainoo and Alejandro Garnacho due to their financial situation [The Guardian].
