Tottenham are somehow days away from glory at the end of what has been a miserable season.

Ange Postecoglou takes his Spurs side to Bilbao to take on Manchester United in the Europa League final on Wednesday, with the winners claiming silverware and Champions League qualification.

Spurs could end their 17-year trophy drought but still sack Postecoglou, with Ruben Amorim under similar pressures at Old Trafford.

Tottenham set to bank millions

Not only is Champions League football the top of the game, but it also brings great windfall.

Dan Plumley has shared that based on estimates of this season and the new format, Tottenham could bank around £70million from qualification.

"There are very strong predictions that Villa, as an example, will have earned around £70m, at least this season," he exclusively told Tottenham News about the Champions League.

"The minimum number we used to work on with the Champions League was around £50million for an English club, now you can put another £20m on that at least.

"If they were to win the Europa League and win it, that would be £35m, if you get into the Champions League, it's double that, even in a prudent estimate."

Levy in it for the millions at Tottenham

It is no secret that Levy is one of the best in the business when it comes to commercial exploits and revenue in the Premier League.

With the new format of the Champions League, English clubs are taking full advantage, as Aston Villa have shown this season, reaching the quarter-finals.

Qualification for the top table again would open the door to bigger and better signings, whether players or even a new manager to replace Postecoglou.

Spurs have been shocking in the Premier League this season, but victory in Bilbao would immediately delete that from memory for everyone involved.

With three victories over Manchester United already this season, they would mean nothing if a fourth isn't secured here, with everything crossed.
