Daniel Levy investment talks on cards at Tottenham as Amanda Stavely image emerges

Daniel Levy could have held fresh talks with Amanda Stavely over a potential investment in Tottenham in the last 24 hours.

The Mirror reported via their website on 28 September that Staveley and her money men are in talks to buy a stake at the club.

Staveley is looking to reinvest the £500million she received from selling her share in Newcastle and has firmly set her eyes on Spurs.

It appears that the English business executive's investment plans are still on course as she was spotted at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium on Sunday (13 October).

As seen in a picture posted on X by Lilywhite Rose, Staveley was in attendance for the NFL match between Jacksonville Jaguars and Chicago Bears.

Football London (14 October) has meanwhile reported that Levy was also present for the match, which means the two could have held further talks about Staveley's proposed investment plans.

Tottenham fans will undoubtedly welcome any investment in the club, but this news raises questions about how much power Staveley would have.

Levy has been serving as the Spurs chairman since February 2001 and, as shared by Alasdair Gold, has been involved in making decisions for details as little as door knobs inside the stadium.

Therefore, it will be interesting to see how much influence he will allow Staveley to have when her possible buy-in potentially goes through.

Staveley could be expecting to have some sort of control at the North London club after Alan Nixon reported via his Patreon on Sunday (13 October) that she would like to hire Eddie Howe if things do not improve for Ange Postecoglou.

She was influential in the Saudi-backed Public Investment Fund's takeover of Newcastle in 2021 and was a public figure there until her departure in the summer.

While Levy prefers to work away from the spotlight, Staveley is in no way fussed about being in the public eye.

Although that difference exists, both of them seemingly enjoy having control and therefore the dynamics between them will be a cause of intrigue at Tottenham.
