‘Tottenham to seal deal of the century’ as Bissouma update emerges

Yves Bissouma could be next out the door at Tottenham this summer.

While most of the focus is on transfers at Tottenham this summer, there has been very little to shout home about in terms of incomings, though that is expected to change in the coming weeks.

Instead, attention has been on players leaving Spurs, with Cristian Romero potentially set to be the next one to leave.

However, Bissouma is another whose future is in serious doubt, given the fact that he has just 12 months left on his contract, and Spurs fans are adamant that a deal can be struck.

Juventus want to sign Bissouma this summer

Bissouma had a troubled campaign last time out, though the same can be said for the majority of those at Tottenham, given their 17th-placed finish in the Premier League.

That, added to the fact that he can agree a move abroad for free in six months time, has seen reports claim that Tottenham could sell him, with Juventus holding an interest.

However, a midfield addition at Turin could see one leave, and with Douglas Luiz the most likely to exit, Tottenham fans want to see a swap deal set in motion.

Luiz, formerly of Aston Villa, has already been linked with a move back to the Premier League this summer, and he would be a great addition for Spurs.

Fans were quick to react to the news on X, with one hailing it as potentially Tottenham’s “best deal in decades”.

Tottenham need to improve player sales

It is reported that Tottenham would accept less than £20million for Bissouma, which, when taking into account the fee paid to sign him, is poor business.

At 28 years old, he is still in the prime of his career, and regardless of the contract situation, Spurs should be holding out for more.

However, this isn’t something Tottenham are unfamiliar with, given the fact that DanielLevy has done similar many times before.
