Mohammed Kudus brutally mocked after brand-new Tottenham claim – ‘Cringe’
Tottenham fans will be very excited to see Mohammed Kudus make his debut for the Lilywhites.
Kudus displayed many attributes during his two-year spell at West Ham, namely his unique dribbling style and ability to score audacious goals, which will get Spurs supporters off their seats.
The Ghanaian is expected to play the majority of the games in his preferred right forward position, but his versatility and Thomas Frank’s adaptability could see him play anywhere across the front line.
Spurs fans will be hopeful of seeing him make his first appearance in Tottenham’s first pre-season friendly against Reading on Saturday, 19 July, but have not taken too kindly to his latest claims.

Kudus claims Tottenham are in his heart during medical
Tottenham have made a concerted effort to increase their media output this season, in part due to Vinai Venkatesham’s influence.
The newly-appointed Spurs Chief Executive Officer has already pushed for more transparency at the club, with interviews with the camera-shy Daniel Levy and Johan Lange talking about changes at Hotspur Way being shared.
As such, many videos and interviews featuring Kudus have already emerged, with the club officially posting a video (July 14) comprising clips from the 24-year-old’s medical and first day in N17.
During routine checks, when the doctors took a stethoscope to his heart, Kudus remarked, “You’ll find Spurs there.”
While his intentions of the tongue-in-cheek comment were benign, fans did not respond well to it, with many supporters reacting on X, dubbing the comment “cringe”.
Kudus to do his talking on the pitch
While a persona helps you engross yourself in a fanbase, it’s ultimately your performances that will dictate where you sit in the eyes of the supporters.
Season | Appearances | Goals | Assists | Minutes Played |
2024/25 | 35 | 5 | 4 | 2,721′ |
2023/24 | 48 | 18 | 10 | 3,781′ |
Kudus will have a lot of expectations on his shoulders after arriving for around £55million, and will hope he can recapture the form he showed in his debut season with the Hammers.
There are some reservations over Kudus’ consistency, but if Frank can coax the best out of the former Ajax man to perform at a high level every week, he will become a superstar in no time in North London.
