Liverpool fans mock Tottenham as Salah incident outrage emerges
Tottenham Hotspur supporters are fully focused on the resumption of their upcoming European journey starting this week, with the hammering at Liverpool out of the minds of many.
That comes down to how expected it was, as Spurs took an early lead but were blown away 5-1 (27 April) as the Reds took a title which had been inevitable for a long time.
It took Golden Boot-winner in-waiting Mohamed Salah until the fourth of the quintet to secure a goal contribution, as he added his 28th Premier League strike of the season.

Liverpool fans mock Tottenham, Jamie O’Hara goes mad
Tottenham and Ange Postecoglou will be solely tunnel-visioned towards Thursday’s Europa League semi-final first leg against Bodo/Glimt (1 May).
However, it was a tough watch for everyone of a Spurs persuasion around the world, even borne just out of apathy – and especially after Salah scored.
The Egyptian celebrated his goal by taking a phone from the byline in a seemingly planned stunt, proceeding to take selfies with the fans housed in the Kop End at Anfield.
Former Spurs midfielder Jamie O’Hara raged at the incident, describing the side he still avidly supports as “whipping boys”.
Fans in O’Hara’s X mentions (27 April) took great amusement from his reaction – mostly from Liverpool, but also of several other clubs as Spurs return focus to Europe.
Spurs prepare for Bodo/Glimt
Tottenham fans knew heading to Anfield a win was next to unimaginable, even when Dominic Solanke headed in an excellent finish early on.
However, an opening goal like that against the Norwegians on Thursday and the mood will be a lot more hopeful.
Tottenham Hotspur – this week | Date |
Bodo Glimt (H) – Europa League SF 2L | Thu 1 May |
West Ham (A) – Premier League | Sun 4 May |
Postecoglou could be somewhere between fake villain, cult hero and Lilywhite legend if he could somehow secure a maiden trophy since 2008 while simultaneously guiding Spurs to their worst-ever Premier League season.
If Tottenham can channel what they managed to against Eintracht Frankfurt – particularly in the second leg in Germany – they remain with every chance of lifting the European honour.
