Tottenham told to ‘sack Postecoglou now’ after ‘Embarrassing’ new footage

Ange Postecoglou is running out of time to save his job at Tottenham after the 2-0 loss to Fulham on Sunday.

Spurs were second best at Craven Cottage (16 March) as they fell to goals from Rodrigo Muniz and Ryan Sessegnon.

It was the Lilywhites’ 15th defeat in the Premier League this season and the Australian will surely have to face the music sooner rather than later regardless of the North London outfit’s Europa League run.

Postecoglou caught in outburst at Tottenham fans

After the contest, Postecoglou was caught in a confrontation with Spurs supporters as he walked back to the dressing room with his team.

The Australian had to be held back by Djed Spence and Mathys Tel as he tried to respond to the criticism.

It is not a good look for the former Celtic man and does little to suggest that he has a future at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium beyond the end of the current campaign.

Tottenham fans call for Postecoglou sack

It is safe to say that Tottenham fans are less than impressed with the incident after another dismal defeat, this time at the hands of a London rival.

Once a manager loses the supporters, there is usually no way back to rebuild that relationship and it normally signals that their time at a club is coming to an end.

The behaviour from Postecoglou is unacceptable, you have to take criticism from supporters on the chin and not react in the way that he did, especially when the team has underperformed so badly and find themselves in 15th place in the Premier League, a shambolic position for a club of Spurs’ size.

His arrogant attitude and excuses are not washing anymore, while there has been an injury crisis, he has not helped the situation with his stubborn tactical approach and intense training regimen arguably even making it worse.

Surely it is only a matter of time before Daniel Levy decides to move in a different direction after Postecoglou’s latest sign of cracking under the pressure, it may not matter if he wins a trophy to end the 17-year drought.
