Tottenham player told to watch out after what happened v Liverpool – ‘Animal’

Tottenham supporters have warned Guglielmo Vicario that he could lose his place as Tottenham’s number one after Antonin Kinsky’s debut performance against Liverpool.

Vicario has been out of action for Spurs since November after picking up an ankle injury that required surgery.

After a run of games for Fraser Forster, the Lilywhites began their transfer window business by signing goalkeeper Kinsky from Slavia Prague.

Antonin Kinsky started life well at Tottenham

Kinsky made his Spurs debut against Liverpool in the first left of the EFL Cup semi-finals at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, coming away on the right side of a 1-0 win with a clean sheet under his belt.

His impressive debut has led supporters to praise him, labelling the 21-year-old as “pure gold” and an “animal” with Vicario being warned to watch out for his place in the side being snapped up.

Kinsky could prove to be just what Spurs fans needed as the injury to Vicario was a big blow and with Forster unavailable for the game against Newcastle due to sickness, reinforcement was needed as an urgency.

The Czech goalkeeper had started all of Slavia Prague’s fixtures in the Czech First League and Europa League this season with his side top of the table and he looks like he could be set to have a similar run in North London.

At 21-years-old, if Kinsky can keep his standards high, he could prove to be an exciting prospect for the future.
