Tottenham told to ‘sack Ange Postecoglou tonight’ after what he just said
Ange Postecoglou’s future at Tottenham has become even more precarious after Spurs were beaten 4-2 by Wolves on Sunday.
Spurs’ defending was woeful as they shipped four goals against a Wolves side who now sit 16th in the Premier League, just two points behind the North London club.
Postecoglou has steered his side to just one win in their last five games, while a top-half finish in the Premier League is now firmly beyond Tottenham’s reach.
Spurs have now suffered 17 defeats in a top-flight campaign, which supporters will be grateful to see the back of next month.

Tottenham fans demand Postecoglou sack after Wolves defeat
Tottenham’s official X account shared Postecoglou’s post-match comments after the big loss at Molineux, and the comments section was met by plenty of disgruntled fans.
One supporter wrote: “Why would you even do this today? You know that the majority of the fan base want him gone. Seriously, you don’t help yourselves sometimes. Sack him tonight.”
Another X user said: “Get him out.”
Postecoglou could be sacked by Spurs next week
Tottenham’s woeful defeat at Wolves could well have spelled the end of Postecoglou’s tenure in charge of the North London club already.
Opponent | Result |
Chelsea (A) | 1-0 L |
Southampton (H) | 3-1 W |
Frankfurt (H) | 1-1 D |
Wolves (A) | 4-2 L |
After finishing fifth in the Premier League table last season, Spurs have made significant backwards steps in the top flight this term and could even finish as low as 17th, with both Wolves and West Ham breathing down their necks.
But Tottenham owner Daniel Levy is unlikely to give Postecoglou the axe while his side are still competing in the Europa League, where they drew 1-1 with Frankfurt in the first leg of their quarter-final tie on Thursday.
Hugo Ekitike put the German club 1-0 to the good before Pedro Porro bagged his equaliser for Postecoglou’s men.
However, a draw in North London was not a favourable outcome for Tottenham, who now have to beat the Bundesliga highfliers on away turf.
Should Spurs lose to Dino Toppmoller’s men on 17 April, it could prove to be Postecoglou’s last action in the dugout, with only days to go.
