Tottenham ‘take selfish decision’ as Mourinho eyes £12m Bissouma reunion – Exclusive
Yves Bissouma has been linked with an exit from Tottenham.
Spurs are now in the period of the summer where plans start to accelerate, in terms of both incomings and outgoings.
Mohammed Kudus’ arrival at Spurs looks set to be one of several this month, with links to Yoane Wissa and Morgan Gibbs-White also refusing to go away.
However, a handful of players could also move on this summer, with Bissouma one of those heavily linked with an exit.

Tottenham to take selfish Bissouma option
In six months, Bissouma can negotiate a free transfer abroad, leaving Tottenham empty-handed when it comes to recouping the fee paid to sign him from Brighton.
However, Jose Mourinho’s Fenerbahce are one of several clubs to have shown interest in the Malian, who could leave for around £12-15million this summer.
With that said, Paul Robinson wants to see him remain at Spurs for the season, with a part to play in their Champions League campaign.

Speaking exclusively to Tottenham News, he said: “I think he’s the type of player that needs to play every week. He’s one of those who gets into a rhythm, rather than being a bit-part player. It’d be interesting to see what Thomas Frank’s plans are for him.
“What Tottenham get from being in the Champions League and what you would have to pay to replace him. From a selfish point of view, from a Tottenham point of view, you keep him.
“If you’re going to let him go and you’ve got better coming in, fair enough, let him go. And if the finances allow it, I just think other areas of the pitch could be strengthened. And from a Tottenham point of view, for the sake of £12million, you keep him to be part of the Champions League squad next year.“

Tottenham need sufficient squad depth
Aside from Ange Postecoglou’s stubbornness, the main reason behind Tottenham’s domestic failures last season was their lack of depth.
That needs to be different this season, and with the summer window still open, they have no excuse to enter the season without it.
