Tyrese Hall exit: Tottenham insider shares what he knows about Stoke City loan
Tottenham midfielder Tyrese Hall has been linked with a loan move to Stoke City.
As reported by Darren Witcoop via X (13 January), the Championship side have the Tottenham youngster on their radar.
Ex-Spurs scout Bryan King has backed Hall to leave on loan in the winter transfer window and claims a move to the bet365 Stadium could be a positive one.
However, Lilywhite Rose owner John Wenham – speaking exclusively to Tottenham News – claims the 19-year-old is not likely to join the Potters.
“I wasn’t convinced by that report,” Wenham said.
“I’ve not heard that information whatsoever. Therefore, I was a bit surprised by that. I do think Hall will leave the club on loan, don’t get me wrong. However, I’m not sure Stoke would be the right move for him, just in terms of the way they play and the way he plays.
“I think he would be better suited starting with a League One loan, where that will be I’m not sure. However, I wouldn’t read much into the Stoke City news, I’ve not heard anything from the many people I speak to.”
Stoke City to miss out on Tottenham midfielder Tyrese Hall?
Hall hasn’t been offered any first-team opportunities under Ange Postecoglou this season, despite featuring heavily in Spurs’ pre-season preparations.
Therefore, the Under-21s ace has been urged to leave the club on loan in the winter transfer window to secure more first-team opportunities. However, it looks as though a move to Stoke City might not be on the cards.
As a result, another suitable club will need to be found, and Spurs and Postecoglou will want to ensure the young Spurs hopeful is joining a club where he will be afforded opportunities.

Otherwise, there is a risk of the player’s development being hindered.
