Tottenham transfers: ‘Red flag’ emerges as proposal sent for Barca ace Ansu Fati
Barcelona attacker Ansu Fati would be a risky signing for Tottenham, according to Dr Rajpal Brar.
The injury expert claims that as he’s been hampered with injuries for a while and struggled previously in the Premier League, there is a major red flag surrounding any potential deal.
This comes after the North London outfit have sent a proposal to sign the Spain international. [Fichajes, 22 January]
Discussing the state of play with Fati exclusively with Tottenham News, Dr Brar, a doctor in physical therapy and a sports scientist, shared his verdict.
He said: “Unfortunately, he’s a player who has constantly been hampered by injuries with much of it starting during his time at Barcelona when he dealt with a prolonged meniscus injury that led to multiple muscular injuries.
“The major red flag will be the constant injuries and inability to get out of the vicious injury cycle.
“His last Premier League stint doesn’t help either.“
Tottenham must not sign Ansu Fati
Signing Fati, given his past injury issues, would be a huge risk for Spurs.
Given how their season has unfolded and their rotten luck with player injuries, the last thing they would want is for someone battling fitness issues.

Also, given his previous stint in the Premier League, it might be best to avoid taking a punt on him.
In other Tottenham news, an update has emerged as Spurs have been offered the chance to seal a new £19m transfer.
