Tottenham transfers: New twist emerges in Chelsea ace Adarabioyo chase
Tottenham will need to take into account Tosin Adarabioyo’s lack of game time at Chelsea if they are to sign him, according to Dr Rajpal Brar.
The injury expert claims that as he’s not played regularly, it would be of some concern as he’s not managed to reduce the risk of injury setbacks.
This comes after Caught Offside reported on 20 January that Spurs were keen on the Blues centre-back in the January transfer window.
Discussing the state of play with Adarabioyo exclusively with Tottenham News, Dr Brar, a doctor in physical therapy and a sports scientist, shared his verdict.
“While he has not had injury issues, he has not featured regularly all season,” he said.
“It would be of some concern because you need consistent minutes to build fitness and rhythm and reduce injury risk.
“In terms of him adapting to the move, as he’s been in the same league, he’ll be used to the conditions.“
Tottenham must be wary of pursuing Chelsea defender Tosin Adarabioyo’s services
The 27-year-old has struggled to establish himself as a regular for the Blues and there are doubts about whether or not he’d strengthen the Spurs playing eleven.
Given the crisis Ange Postecoglou finds himself in, he would want Daniel Levy to sanction moves for players that are upgrades on the ones he’s working with.

Whether or not a new centre-back is on the Australian’s list of priorities, remains to be seen.
In other Tottenham news, a major development has emerged on Ange Postecoglou’s future after the loss to Leicester City.
