Tottenham told to complete Randal Kolo Muani transfer after Friday announcement
Tottenham have been told they have no excuses not to sign Randal Kolo Muani after an announcement on Friday.
As reported by GiveMeSport (9 January) Tottenham have made progress in their attempts to sign the Paris Saint-Germain forward.
They face stiff competition for his signature and will need to act fast, with Juventus also interested in signing the Frenchman [via Mirko Di Natale, 9 January].
As confirmed via The New York Jets’s Official Website (10 January), the NFL side will host one of their home games during the 2025 regular season at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.
Therefore, Lilywhite Rose owner John Wenham – speaking exclusively to Tottenham News – believes there is no excuse for a player of Kolo Muani’s calibre not to be signed as the money continues to roll in.
“These constant partnership announcements don’t stop,” Wenham said.
“Therefore, I don’t expect there will be any issues signing a player like Kolo Muani, because the money is only continuing to roll in. Kolo Muani is someone I’ve wanted from when we were first linked with him.
“I think he would be an outstanding signing for us. He is good enough that people would quickly realise he could be starting for us in a variety of roles.
“It will be difficult to get him, especially with clubs like Juventus interested. However, we’ve shown in recent times we can beat big clubs to signings, we have the financial muscle to do that now.”
Tottenham told to sign Randal Kolo Muani
Signing a player like Kolo Muani would be a statement of serious intent, and would ease the pressure on Ange Postecoglou.
Daniel Levy deserves some credit for his role in a recent transfer which was sealed by the club. However, he must do more if he wants to transform his reputation in North London.

And with the revenues at Spurs only continuing to increase, there really is little excuse not to sign high-profile players.
In other Tottenham news, the club have been urged to cut ties with Nike after images of next season’s kit were leaked online.
