‘Tottenham to snap hands off’ to sell Richarlison as price tag emerges

Tottenham could be raring to sell Richarlison already as the summer window looms in North London.

The Brazil international has had a difficult season for the Lilywhites as injuries have taken a major toll on his campaign.

This has seen him make just 10 Premier League appearances under Ange Postecoglou, in what has been a terrible campaign for the Spurs boss.

As a result, changes are highly likely in the summer with the 27-year-old potentially set for a departure after three seasons in N17.

Richarlison exit bound at Tottenham

Considering £60m was outlayed for the forward from Everton, he has failed to live up to the expectations that come with that price tag.

This has seen him net just 19 goals despite making over 80 appearances in North London, which is far from good enough.

With just four goals in all competitions this campaign, it could be time for all parties to part ways as the transfer window looms.

This could see former club Everton make a swoop for Richarlison, with former Leicester City and Brentford boss Martin Allen suggesting a deal could go through for as little as £15m.

Speaking exclusively to Tottenham News, Allen said: “What has he done at Tottenham? He flatters to deceive, he’s not been great.

It was a lot of money to buy him for, the promise that he showed when he was younger hasn’t come to the fore, and he’s been on the periphery and a sub-type player.

Who would want to take him and thrust him in as their lead centre forward? I’m not sure there are many teams that would.

What’s he worth? If they got £15m or £20m, they would snap anyone’s hand off. I don’t think he brings enough in terms of goals and assists.

Richarlison could leave Tottenham for Everton return

There is no doubt that the Brazilian appeared to be much happier and a better player when he was featuring for the Toffees.

At Tottenham, the likes of Wilson Odobert and Dominic Solanke have come in and been utilised far more than the ex-Watford man.

This could see a return to Goodison make total sense, especially as the Merseysiders near their move to the Bramley-Moore Dock stadium for next season.

This could see Richarlison become a prime target for Everton with new owners, The Friedkin Group, looking to put their stamp down.
