Tottenham to ‘accept £5m Richarlison bid’ amid fresh exit news
Daniel Levy could accept a substantial loss on Richarlison at Tottenham as fresh exit news emerges.
Spurs agreed a £60million deal with Everton to sign Richarlison in the summer of 2022, paying an up-front fee of £50million, with £10million in add-ons included in the agreement.
However, the Brazillian’s time in North London has been nothing short of a disaster. The striker has spent plenty of time on the sidelines injured, and when he has played, he hasn’t exactly set the Premier League alight.
As a result, a summer exit for Richarlison is now on the cards, and Levy could perhaps be forced to accept a much lower fee than he might like.

Levy ‘to struggle to secure big-money fee for Richarlison’
As reported by the Daily Mail (31 March), Tottenham turned down an offer for Richarlison from Flamengo in the winter transfer window, with the Brazillian club offering a £16million permanent deal or a loan.
Spurs were only keen on a permanent deal but wanted double what was being offered. However, if the North London club have another opportunity to sell Richarlison in the summer, they could accept it.

Richarlison | 80 | 18 | 9 |
According to Goal Brazil (1 April), the 27-year-old’s future appears to lie away from the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium. Spurs are willing to listen to offers for the forward, who would prefer to remain in Europe as opposed to a move elsewhere.
However, ex-Spurs scout Bryan King – speaking exclusively to Tottenham News – believes Levy might end up being forced to accept as little as £5m for Richarlison if he is signed by a club in Europe.
“He hasn’t played consistently for the last two years,” King said.
“Is it going to be a situation where Spurs cut their losses here? Because I can’t see them getting a big fee from a European club for him. The only option is Saudi Arabia if you’re talking big money. If I were a manager in Europe, no way would I invest big money in Richarlison.
“If I were Tottenham, I’d be looking to get him off the books. They might even accept £5m. If somebody is actually interested in buying him, I’d say you could have him for £5m, and if he plays 20 league games, stick another £10m on that.”

Levy needs to cut his losses and sell Richarlison
It would no doubt hurt Levy to accept a big-money loss on Richarlison.
However, with two years left on his deal in the summer, and a fresh contract unlikely at this stage, the striker’s value is only going to continue to decrease.
Therefore, Tottenham might need to accept what they can get for Richarlison this summer.
