Tottenham ‘to accept £15m for Yves Bissouma’ amid Crystal Palace transfer news

Tottenham midfielder Yves Bissouma could be lining up in a Crystal Palace shirt next season.

Ange Postecoglou has a host of talented midfielders in North London, with 18-year-old duo Archie Gray and Lucas Bergvall both serious options for the present and future.

In terms of senior midfielders, Rodrigo Bentancur and Bissouma are both out of contract at the end of next season. However, Bentancur could be offered £150,000-a-week by Tottenham to stick around.

Therefore, that could spell the end of the road for Bissouma at Spurs, with a host of clubs emerging as potential destinations for the Mali international.

Crystal Palace interested in Tottenham midfielder Bissouma

As reported by GiveMeSport (2 March), Bissouma will be allowed to leave Tottenham in the summer, with Marseille, Nice and Crystal Palace all interested in the 28-year-old.

And ex-Spurs scout Bryan King – speaking exclusively to Tottenham News – believes an offer of £15million would be enough to convince Spurs to part ways with Bissouma.

“I’ve been expecting one of Bissouma or Pape Matar Sarr to leave,” King said.

“If clubs are interested, then I think it is time to sell. I think the time has come, he’s been a decent player for the club, but maybe he needs a new challenge elsewhere.

Bissouma’s record for Tottenham

“I’d imagine that a bid of £15m would be accepted by Tottenham. Bissouma isn’t young, he’s got one year left on his contract. Therefore, if Tottenham want any money for him, a deal has got to be done in the summer.

“A lot of these players that have been brought in are very questionable for me, which points to the recruitment in North London.”

Tottenham should part ways with Bissouma

Bissouma hasn’t lived up to expectations since arriving at Tottenham from Brighton.

Therefore, it feels as though this summer is the perfect time to part ways. With the midfielder out of contract at the end of next season, and very unlikely to be offered a new deal, this summer is when Levy and Spurs will get maximum value for Bissouma.
