Tottenham ‘protests to continue’ as brand-new demonstration planned

Tottenham supporters could take part in at least two more protests before the end of the season, with one demonstration already planned.

It has been a miserable season for supporters in North London.

Ange Postecoglou is expected to be sacked by Daniel Levy with Tottenham losing their 17th Premier League game of the season on Sunday (13 April) as they were beaten 4-2 by Wolves at Molineux.

Fans are growing tired of Postecoglou and some of the players, with Cristian Romero branded a “disgrace” after his actions in the West Midlands on Sunday.

However, most of the frustration among fans is reserved for Daniel Levy and ENIC, with protests expected to continue between now and the end of the season.

Tottenham supporters to protest ahead of Crystal Palace clash

Spurs supporters have protested against Levy and ENIC on multiple occasions this season, most recently ahead of the 3-1 Premier League win over Southampton at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium on Sunday, 6 April.

It is clear that fans want Levy out of the club, and there is a chance they could soon get their wish after a recent Tottenham announcement.

However, for now, Levy remains, and it appears as though supporters will continue to protest until their voices are heard, with Change for Tottenham announcing via X on Sunday (13 April) that a demonstration will take place ahead of the Premier League clash with Crystal Palace at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, which is currenlty scheduled for Sunday 10 May.

And Lilywhite Rose owner John Wenham – speaking exclusively to Tottenham News – has speculated that another protest could yet be arranged before the end of the season.

“I was at the most recent protest myself,” Wenham said.

“It was a very peaceful protest; people were well behaved. There was a lot of good signage there, and it looked very impressive. The protests will continue, and I think we could see two more before the end of the season.

“That would ramp up significantly if we were to be eliminated from the Europa League by Frankfurt. Good luck to the people organising it because they’re bringing attention to the frustration among Tottenham fans who are being asked to pay Michelin star prices but being served up McDonalds.”

Tottenham fans have every right to be angry

Supporters at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium pay some of the highest ticket prices in Europe. However, at times this season, they have been forced to watch some of the worst football in the Premier League.

As a result, fans have every right to be angry, and it is no surprise that protests are expected to continue.
