Tottenham player could miss training for weeks with injury
Tottenham midfielder Lucas Bergvall is likely to spend weeks on the sidelines with an ankle injury, according to Dr Rajpal Brar.
The injury expert claims that this one is a Grade 2 ligament tear, at minimum, and it could even be worse.
The 19-year-old last featured for the senior team in the 5-1 loss against Liverpool on 27 April.

Bergvall may not be ready in time for start of pre-season
While it is unclear, there is the possibility of Bergvall potentially not being able to be back for pre-season.
However, it seems that Ange Postecoglou is more bullish about his return sooner than that.
Discussing the state of play with Bergvall exclusively with Tottenham News, Dr Brar, a doctor in physical therapy and a sports scientist, shared his verdict.

“They say tweaked ankle ligaments, but the word ‘Tweaked’ is very much a colloquialism,” he said.
“He will miss over a month or so, looking at a Grade 2 ligament tear, at minimum.
“Returning to training will depend on the full extent of the injury.
“If it’s a Grade 2, that’s typically 3-4 weeks, whereas a Grade 3 is 4-6 weeks.
“So, he might not recover in time for the start of pre-season if it is more extreme but that is the worst-case scenario.“

Tottenham need to ensure Bergvall recovers well
While having him back for the final would be a huge boost, Spurs need to consider the larger picture as well.
Rushing him back could lead to further complications down the line which everyone will want to avoid.
Also, having a player who’s not fully fit, back for a high-stakes encounter, may not be the best decision either.
Even if he does return for the final, it is unlikely he’ll be at a 100 per cent.
