Tottenham: Lilywhite Rose labels ‘Dangerous’ West Ham player who can hurt Spurs
John Wenham of Lilywhite Rose fears that Lucas Paqueta will cause Tottenham “problems” when they travel to West Ham.
Ange Postecoglou will take his players to the London Stadium for some Premier League derby action on Tuesday (2 April).
Spurs will be looking to build on their momentum after Son Heung-min scored late to secure the North London side a 2-1 victory over Luton Town at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium (30 March).
Ahead of the London derby, Wenham has singled out Paqueta as a potential game-changer for the hosts.
Speaking exclusively to Tottenham News, Wenham, the founder of reputable Spurs podcast Lilywhite Rose, said: “At home, under the lights, West Ham will be right up for it.
“If we’re not at 100%, we will lose, we need to go out there and play at our absolute best if we want to get something from the game.
“I want three points but being realistic I would take one if you asked me now, this is a very tough game for us.
“Paqueta is such a dangerous player for them, and you can see why Manchester City wanted him last summer.
“He will cause us problems, and we will need to be switched on.”
Tottenham and Ange Postecoglou will face a tough test against West Ham at the London Stadium
Spurs against West Ham is usually one of the fixtures both fanbases look for first when the games are announced at the beginning of the season.
It always proves to be a fiery contest, with the Hammers always keen to get one over on their London rivals.
David Moyes’ side won the reverse fixture at Spurs 2-1 earlier this season (7 December), and Postecoglou will be keen to exact some revenge.

Paqueta will certainly be someone to look out for, and the Australian must ensure he has a plan in place to stop the playmaker from causing his side too many issues.
