Tottenham injury news: Doctor shares Manor Solomon update
Tottenham attacker Manor Solomon may now be out for the rest of the season due to injury, according to Dr Rajpal Brar.
The injury expert claims that the timeline will depend on the extent of the surgery but the possibility of him being out beyond May is realistic.
The Israel international recently had to undergo an operation on his knee, extending his spell on the sidelines.
Discussing the state of play with Solomon exclusively with Tottenham News, Dr Brar, a doctor in physical therapy and a sports scientist, said:
“Solomon just underwent a procedure on his right knee which is a meniscus surgery and the timeline here will depend on the type and extent of the surgery.
“If it’s a partial trim, then we’re looking at least another six weeks.
“If it’s a meniscus repair, which is not always an option, then we’re looking at over three months out.
“However, given his setback, there remains the possibility of him being ruled out for the rest of the season.“
Solomon’s absence is a blow for Tottenham
The 24-year-old has made just two league starts this season and that is not something anyone would be happy with.
Ange Postecoglou would want more options to pick from and Solomon himself would want to play as much as he possibly can.
He has registered just one league goal and another assist to his cause and would want to add to the tally if he is back before the end of the season.

Ryan Sessegnon is already ruled out for the rest of the season with a hamstring injury and Spurs would not want another player to be out.
