Tottenham hailed for ‘hugely impressive’ signing that caught Juventus off guard
Tottenham completed some exciting signings during the summer transfer window.
The Lilywhites needed to overhaul their squad after a dismal Premier League campaign last time out, and they have done an effective job of that over the last few months.
Tottenham notably missed out on Eberechi Eze, but they were still able to secure eight signings throughout the window, and several could slot straight into the first-choice starting XI.
Thomas Frank will be delighted with the work that has been done on the squad, but there is one particular move that the North Londoners will be feeling even more pleased about.

This article includes exclusive comments from Lilywhite Rose owner John Wenham.
Juventus ‘caught by surprise’ by Tottenham Kolo Muani move
Tottenham moved quickly to add Randal Kolo Muani to their ranks on deadline day, as he became the final addition of a busy summer for the N17 outfit.
The forward has played in a World Cup final and has also has bags of Champions League experience, and his signing has been cause for plenty of excitement since it was agreed.
The Frenchman has joined on a season-long loan from PSG, as Frank and Co. were able to jump in and hijack his impending return to Juventus in the final days of the window.

Lilywhite Rose owner John Wenham believes that Spurs’ move for the 26-year-old caught the Italian giants completely off guard.
“I think Juventus were caught by surprise, with Kolo Muani having been on loan there last year,” Wenham said.
“They were waiting until the end of the window, thinking that they’d get better terms because obviously he was there last year, and no one else has taken him. Tottenham seemingly swooped in 24 hours to get the deal done.
“So it’s hugely impressive and I think he’s going to be a fantastic signing, and another one that instantly improves our options.”

Kolo Muani deal a refreshing change for Spurs
Tottenham’s failure to land Eze earlier in the summer was another transfer saga in which the Lilywhites let themselves down with the speed of their negotiations.
They seemingly had a deal to sign the England international within their grasp, only to drag their heels and allow Arsenal to swoop in.
With that in mind, the signing of Kolo Muani served as impressive proof that they can still conduct business in a quick and decisive manner.
The former Eintracht Frankfurt star looks to be a sensible purchase, and Spurs will be hoping that he can repay their faith in him with some quality performances.
