Tottenham goalkeeper Guglielmo Vicario injury update shared by Doctor

Tottenham goalkeeper Guglielmo Vicario can target a return from injury in February, according to Dr Rajpal Brar.

The injury expert claims that a return in the second month of 2025 is the best-case scenario for the Spurs number one after having surgery on his ankle.

Vicario injured his ankle against Manchester City in November but soldiered on to play the rest of the game.

Discussing the state of play with Vicario exclusively with Tottenham News, Dr Brar, a doctor in physical therapy and a sports scientist, shared his verdict.

His current day to day will be recovery from the surgery with range of motion and strengthening as possible within the protocols,” he said.

Best-case scenario here sounds like him returning to training around late February or so but as said by Ange, really hard to know until he’s back on the grass and they see how he’s responding.

Guglielmo Vicario is unlikely to be back for Tottenham before February

The Italian has been in incredible form for Spurs this season and is extremely important in build up.

Undoubtedly, in his absence the North London side are a weakened outfit.

With him out until February, it’s time for the other players to galvanise the team.
