Tottenham Exclusive: Tyler Dibling transfer update after injury
Tottenham can still sign Southampton midfielder Tyler Dibling despite his recent injury, according to Dr Rajpal Brar.
The injury expert claims that the North London club will have to decide whether or not they want to take the risk as Dibling is said to be ruled out for up to six weeks with an ankle injury. [Daily Echo, 19 January]
It’s understood that the 18-year-old fancies a move to Spurs and they are his preferred destination ahead of the 3 February deadline. [TEAMtalk, 21 January]
Discussing the state of play with Dibling exclusively with Tottenham News, Dr Brar, a doctor in physical therapy and a sports scientist, shared his verdict.
He said: “Whether the transfer is on or off depends on the club and how much risk they want to assume and how comfortable they are with the player’s ankle injury and rehabilitation.
“It’s something where they may be able to lower the fee as well.
“He would still be able to pass the medical because the medical staff understands he will be limited with certain things due to injury and so you adapt the testing.“
Tottenham may avoid signing Tyler Dibling due to his injury
Spurs already have several injuries in their side and the last thing they’d want is to bring in another injured player.
While it may not be something that gives him issues beyond the next few weeks, it is still a risk Ange Postecoglou may not want to take.

Whether or not they do make a move for him, remains to be seen, but the medical staff will need to green-light the pursuit.
