Tottenham Exclusive: Mohammed Kudus £700k Spurs transfer intel revealed

Tottenham missed out on the opportunity to sign West Ham star Mohammed Kudus for a bargain price, Tottenham News understands.

Daniel Levy is often criticised for the way he operates in North London, with shortcomings in the transfer market one of the many complaints fans have about the Spurs chairman.

And it seems as though he might have made his biggest mistake by passing up on the opportunity to sign Kudus before the now-West Ham star made the move to Ajax.

Tottenham News previously revealed that Kudus was one of three players the club missed out on signing for a combined fee of £8million.

And it seems as though the Ghanian’s fee would have represented just a small chunk of that £8million.

A recruitment source with close links to Spurs and the Norwegian market has exclusively revealed to Tottenham News that the North London club could have signed Kudus for just £700,000 while he was still at FC Nordsjaelland.

Postecoglou is under serious pressure in North London and could have certainly used a player of Kudus’ quality in his squad to help him through this tricky time.

However, Spurs didn’t sign him, in what is just the latest example of Levy’s past mistakes coming back to haunt Tottenham in the long run.

In other Tottenham news, the club could look to cash in on Son Heung-min in January.
