Tottenham delight emerges after ‘amazing’ Josh Keeley development at Leyton Orient

John Wenham is thrilled by the progress that 21-year-old Tottenham goalkeeper Josh Keeley is making on loan at Leyton Orient.

The owner of the reputable Spurs podcast Lilywhite Rose believes the shot-stopper is “going from strength to strength” with the O’s.

Keeley has started Leyton Orient’s last four League One matches. In addition, he was left out of the club’s 3-1 Football League Trophy victory over MK Dons at Stadium MK (12 November).

And Wenham – speaking exclusively to Tottenham News – believes this is a clear sign that the Spurs ace is now viewed as the number between the sticks at Leyton Orient.

“Keeley was actually rested for that match against MK Dons,” Wenham said.

“Therefore, what that tells us is that he is viewed as the number one goalkeeper for the club. For Keeley, that is just amazing.

“He is just going from strength to strength during this loan spell. As a result, I’m really pleased for him.”

Keeley could have a very bright future in North London.

After a difficult start to life on loan with the O’s, Keeley has demonstrated a great mentality to turn things around and establish himself as the number one at the League One club.

Therefore, Ange Postecoglou will no doubt be delighted by what he has seen.

And should Keeley continue to impress this season, Spurs could have a big decision to make regarding the goalkeeper next summer.
