Tottenham could bank millions in profit after £106m reveal on Lucas Bergvall and Archie Gray
Tottenham have made their transfer strategy of signing younger players has been no secret in recent years.
Thomas Frank has always utilised younger players in his management career, with Lucas Bergvall and Archie Gray benefiting from that this season.
The CIES Football Observatory recently named Gray and Bergvall as two of the most valuable teenagers in the world, with a combined worth of £106million.
Tottenham could spend big again in January, yet there has been little talk about players being sold.

Tottenham to make millions in profit
Dan Plumley admitted that Spurs could use the strategy perfectly to make millions in the future.
Speaking exclusively to Tottenham News, the football finance expert admitted that Gray and Bergvall definitely fit into the category of players who could create massive profits.
“That’s certainly part of what you’re looking for,” Plumley said.
“That’s not risk-free, and we’ve spoken about that with a lot of players.
“You are taking a risk on signing younger players, with a view to potential, and hopefully selling them for much more than you bought them for if they realise that potential.
“Spurs have got a couple there that may work out in that way, but it’s not without that risk, and it’s one of those, again, that are strategic decisions by a club.

“There is certainly a financial benefit to buying cheap when players are younger and potentially confirming a big sell-on further down the line.
“You would put Gray and Bergvall in that bracket to have that in the future.”

How have Archie Gray and Lucas Bergvall performed?
It speaks volumes that Tottenham fans continue to be disappointed with Rodrigo Bentancur and Joao Palhinha, rather than others in midfield.
Bergvall continues to shine frequently, yet it was Gray who caught the eye against Paris Saint-Germain.
The young England international has played in several positions since signing from Leeds for £30million, including central defence and right back, as well as his preferred midfield role.
That versatility will see him continue to grow, and it may not be long until some of the world’s biggest clubs are sniffing around Gray and Bergvall.
