Tottenham backed to sign Atalanta midfielder Ederson as Fabio Paratici claim emerges

John Wenham wants Tottenham to sign Atalanta midfielder Ederson amid a Fabio Paratici reveal.

The owner of the reputable Spurs podcast Lilywhite Rose claims any player recommended by Paratici “stands out”.

It comes after a report in The Mirror (23 May) revealed that Spurs have scouted Ederson extensively.

This is following a recommendation from their former managing director on the player, as previously reported by Tottenham News (18 January).

And Wenham – speaking exclusively to Tottenham News – believes this is enough to sign Ederson.

“Anyone that is recommended by Paratici stands out,” Wenham said.

“If he has advised the club to sign him, then who am I to go against that?

“Paratici has more or less a 100 per cent track record on signings with Spurs.

“Ederson would certainly be welcome at the club.”

There looks set to be plenty of change at Spurs this summer.

The midfield needs upgrading, and Ederson would definitely be an upgrade.

He demonstrated his incredible quality as he helped Atalanta lift the UEFA Europa League.
