Tottenham ace Richarlison return news emerges amid injury setback
Tottenham attacker Richarlison seems to be out with a potential Grade 3 muscle tear, according to Dr Rajpal Brar.
The injury expert claims that given this recent setback with his fitness, he will not be able to return to first-team football until the start of January.
There is a chance that he’s back in training around the New Year assuming everything goes well with his injury rehab.
Discussing the state of play with Richarlison exclusively with Tottenham News, Dr Brar, a doctor in physical therapy and a sports scientist, shared his verdict.
“This sounds like a high Grade 2 or Grade 3 muscle tear and not a Grade 4 tear as first feared based on the timeline thus far,” he said.
“If the timeline of a mid-January return holds, I would expect a return to training around the New Year.
“I do not see him returning to first-team football until the start of January either.“
Tottenham may struggle to offload Richarlison due to his injury issues
It’s fair to say that the Brazil international’s move to North London has not worked out given his multiple fitness woes.
Bryan King, a former Spurs scout, has speculated that he may even leave on loan in January but the takers are expected to be few to none given his lack of availability.

Unless the North London outfit cover a chunk of his wages, it will be difficult to send him to a club where he can regain his match sharpness.
