Sources: Vuskovic set to join new club after agreeing Tottenham move
Tottenham are planning to send new signing Luka Vuskovic to a new club to accelerate his development, sources have told Tottenham News.
Spurs previously confirmed via their official X platform (25 September) that the 16-year-old has agreed to join from Hadjuk Split in a deal reported to be costing around £12million.
However, he will remain in his native Croatia until 2025 as EU rules prevent him from joining Tottenham until he is 18.
The Londoners have discussed Vuskovic heading to a Belgian or Dutch club ahead of his formal move. In the words of one well-placed source, it will better enable Tottenham staff to “keep a close eye” on their new signing.
Despite still being just 16 years of age, Vuskovic has already made 11 appearances for the senior Hajduk Split side and has represented his country at Under-17 level on five occasions.
He helped Split win the domestic cup with three appearances in the 2022-23 campaign.
The wonderkid, who signed a deal running until 2030, will now continue his development in his homeland before joining Tottenham in two years’ time.
Upon signing, the 6ft 4in star insisted it is a “great honour to see that a club like Tottenham has shown such a desire and put in so much effort to bring in a player of my age”.

Under Ange Postecoglou, the first choice centre-back pairing are Cristian Romero and summer signing Micky van de Ven.
They are backed up by Davinson Sanchez, Ashley Phillips and Eric Dier, who has yet to make a single first-team appearance this season.
In other Tottenham news, one on-loan Spurs star’s performance will have excited Ange Postecoglou.
