Sources: Real Madrid and Barcelona set sights on signing Tottenham ace Pedro Porro
Real Madrid and Barcelona have been keeping an eye on the progress of Tottenham right-back Pedro Porro, Tottenham News has been told.
Porro has enjoyed a fantastic season in North London, emerging as one of Spurs’ most important players for Ange Postecoglou.
He made a slow start to life in England following his £39million loan-to-buy switch from Sporting CP in January but has quickly risen to prominence under Postecoglou in his first full season with the club.

Porro has started 17 games in the Premier League this season, registering six assists in that time.
As a result of his brilliant form, Porro’s name has crept up on the radar of some of Europe’s heavyweights ahead of the January transfer window.
A recruitment source with links to Spurs has told Tottenham News he’s aware of Spanish giants Real Madrid and Barcelona both looking at the 24-year-old.
Porro, who made his debut for Spain in March 2021, began his career in La Liga with Rayo Vallecano’s Under-19s. He then sealed a switch to Girona before eventually moving to Manchester City.
His career at the Etihad never took off, and after an initial loan spell in Portugal, he sealed a permanent switch to Sporting Lisbon.

It is unclear how much money Tottenham would demand for Porro, who has become one of the first names on the teamsheet at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.
Emerson Royal is the only other right-back in the squad, and Tottenham News understands it is likely that Spurs would look for a replacement for Porro before sanctioning any sale.
In other Tottenham news, the door is open for a “phenomenal” Spurs teen to finally make a name for himself.
