Richarlison to be sold by Tottenham in £60m+ deal amid Dharmesh Sheth update

Bryan King believes Tottenham are likely to allow Richarlison to leave the club this summer.

The ex-Spurs scout claims that the Brazilian is not the right type of player to succeed in North London.

It comes after Dharmesh Sheth revealed that Richarlison’s future under Ange Postecoglou remains uncertain (via Transfer Talk on Spotify, 7 May).

And according to The Athletic (7 May), there is serious interest from Saudi clubs which would see Spurs make their money back on the 26-year-old, having paid £60million to sign him from Everton (via Sky Sports News, 1 July 2022).

King – speaking exclusively to Tottenham Newsbelieves Daniel Levy would be wise to accept any such offer.

“Saudi Arabia is where the big money is,” King said.

“If Spurs can get most of the money back on Richarlison, then he has to be moved on.”

“I’ve never really seen him as a Tottenham player. He can produce glimpses in games but I think if the right offers come in he will be one of those moved on straightaway.

Ange Postecoglou could allow Richarlison to be sold by Tottenham

Richarlison has shown signs of promise throughout the current campaign.

However, if a big-money offer were to arrive, Spurs would be wise to accept it.

While he has scored more frequently this season, he has not scored frequently enough to warrant Tottenham refusing an offer of £60million.

Should that kind of money be brandished, it is hard to see the Brazil international remaining in N17 next season.

In other Tottenham news, one player is to be sold by the club after an £8.5million transfer development.
