Postecoglou situation ‘shocking’ as tension rises with Daniel Levy – Exclusive
Tottenham may have a new head coach ready to come in as tensions build in North London.
The Lilywhites are coming off the back of a terrible Premier League season offset by an unforgettable Europa League win in Bilbao.
There have been suggestions that this could help save Ange Postecoglou from the sack after fulfilling his second-season promise in N17.
With that being said, a snub from Levy could point towards a new manager ready to take charge at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in the coming weeks.

Tottenham tension builds amid Levy statement
There is no doubt that Postecoglou will go down as an icon in North London after lifting the first trophy for over 17 years at Spurs.
With that being said, sack rumours haven’t gone anywhere, especially after the chairman in North London did little to publicly back his manager.
In his regular end-of-season message, published via Spurs’ official website (25 May), Levy did nothing but say “thanks” to the Australian and his coaching staff.
Given how much uncertainty has surrounded the ex-Celtic man, Levy should have shown him that he is the man to lead the Lilywhites forward.
Former Brentford and Leicester City manager Martin Allen believes this points to tension between the pair, with a new manager potentially lined up ahead of the summer in N17.
Speaking exclusively to Tottenham News, Allen said: “Absolutely, it does [point towards tension].
“The big competition is the Premier League, and they’ve had a particularly disappointing league season.
“Yes, he’s done well to win the cup, but cups are played over 10 games, and the league is nearly 40, so it’s been an awful season for them.
“The manager has to be held accountable for both competitions, but the main competition for Tottenham is certainly the Premier League, and they’ve lost a record number of games.
“I would not be surprised if Posetcoglou parts ways at Tottenham, and I wouldn’t be surprised if they already had someone lined up.
“He won’t just be judged on the cup win, he’ll be judged on the league, and it’s been shocking.“

Postecoglou could still face Tottenham sack
It would come as a shock to many to see the Australian depart, regardless of his side finishing 17th in the Premier League this season.
Not to Allen, however, as he believes a replacement remains in the pipeline, as frustration continues to build from Levy.
Position | Club | Goal difference | Points |

This may prove to pique the interest of Thomas Frank, who has already been strongly linked to the potentially vacant seat in the dugout across the capital.
It is a similar story for Andoni Iraola at Bournemouth, but their futures will all depend on the final decision of the Spurs chairman.
