Paul Robinson: Harry Kane doesn’t sound like a player who wants to leave Tottenham
We’re delighted to welcome former England goalkeeper Paul Robinson as our exclusive columnist as each week he’ll be giving his views on the biggest talking points at The Tottenham Hotspur Stadium…
Harry Kane doesn’t seem like a player who wants to leave Tottenham Hotspur during the summer transfer window, according to Paul Robinson.
The 29-year-old is entering the final year of his current deal at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, which has seen transfer speculation grow [The Guardian].
However, Robinson believes the England captain isn’t acting like a player who wants to move elsewhere anytime soon.

“I am now more unsure than I ever have been about his future,” Robinson exclusively told Tottenham Hotspur News.
“He did an interview and a bit of press a couple of weeks ago and he was talking about next season. He referred to things at the training ground and what needs to be done better and about putting them right next season.
“He didn’t sound like a player who wanted to move on.”

The Guardian reported on Wednesday 24 May, that Manchester United are set to act quickly when it comes to their move for Kane.
The Sun also report on Thursday 25 May, that United are looking to gain a head start when it comes to a move for the 29-year-old, by starting negotiations early. With Manchester City in no need of a striker and moves to Chelsea and Arsenal unlikely, United looks like the most obvious destination.
In other Tottenham news, Paul Robinson wants his former club to interview Vincent Kompany to be the next manager.
