Lucá Williams-Barnett a ‘cheat code’ as Tottenham gem is compared to Mikey Moore
John Wenham has compared Tottenham Under-18s star Lucá Williams-Barnett to Mikey Moore.
The owner of the reputable Spurs podcast Lilywhite Rose claims the 16-year-old is a “cheat code” at Under-18 level.
Williams-Barnett has scored nine goals and provided four assists in eight Under-18 Premier League matches this season, recently sending a message to Ange Postecoglou with his stunning strike.
And Wenham – speaking exclusively to Tottenham News – believes Williams-Barnett is slowly reaching the level Moore did with the Under-18s.
“Williams-Barnett’s goal contributions are incredibly similar to what Moore was doing,” Wenham said.
“A lot of supporters would say that having Moore was like having a cheat code when the forward was playing with the Under-18s.
“And I’d say that just like Moore, Williams-Barnett is also becoming a bit of a cheat code.”
Ange Postecoglou to hand Lucá Williams-Barnett first-team debut at Tottenham?
It is hard to ignore the sensational form of Williams-Barnett. The 16-year-old has already found his way into a senior matchday squad this season, sitting on the bench for Spurs’ 3-2 UEFA Europa League defeat to Galatasaray at RAMS Park (7 November).
Postecoglou handed Moore his first-team debut when he was still only 16. Therefore, there is no reason why the Spurs boss won’t do the same for Williams-Barnett so long as the young forward continues to shine over the coming weeks.

It is an incredibly exciting time for young players at Hotspur Way, with Williams-Barnett not the only Under-18s star making waves at the club.
