Jamie Donley transfer verdict emerges after what Tottenham loanee did recently
Tottenham loanee Jamie Donley has been in fine form for Leyton Orient as of late.
Donley has demonstrated to Ange Postecoglou in recent weeks why he deserves an opportunity in North London.
After struggling initially upon joining Leyton Orient on loan, the 19-year-old is finally finding his feet, scoring his second goal in three games for the O’s in a 2-0 League One victory over Cambridge United at Brisbane Road on Sunday (29 December).
And Lilywhite Rose owner John Wenham – speaking exclusively to Tottenham News – believes the England youth international has a bright future ahead of him, and won’t be going anywhere in January.
“Donley has been performing really well for Leyton Orient,” Wenham said.
“He’s seen as a big part of Spurs’ future, and this run of form has come at just the right time for him. It will quash any talk of a move in the January window because he is getting regular game time.
“Therefore, that is fantastic to see.”
Tottenham gem Jamie Donley shining on loan at Leyton Orient
Spurs will be delighted that Donley is beginning to make an impression at Leyton Orient.
The last thing the club would have wanted to have to do is recall the player and find a different club to loan him to, especially with another Spurs loanee expected to be recalled within days.
Leyton Orient seems to be a good spot for Spurs players this season, with Josh Keeley also making a big impression at the club.

Therefore, supporters can be optimistic that both Keeley and Donley have bright futures at Tottenham.
In other Tottenham news, the club have been told to ban one player after an overnight social media post.
