Jack Grealish ‘to clear medical’ as Tottenham want to seal transfer

Manchester City winger and Tottenham target Jack Grealish has endured a number of minor injury issues recently, according to Dr Rajpal Brar.

The injury expert has taken a look at his recent fitness record as he’s been linked with an exit this summer.

The 29-year-old has struggled this season, scoring just one goal in 20 Premier League appearances.

Grealish should clear his pre-transfer medical

Give Me Sport reported on 29 March that Spurs are among the interested parties in securing Grealish’s services.

The North London outfit have made serious explorations ahead of potentially making a move to sign the player they wanted back when he was at Aston Villa in the Championship.

Grealish has been out of form this season.

Discussing the state of play with Grealish exclusively with Tottenham NewsDr Brar, a doctor in physical therapy and a sports scientist, shared his verdict.

Has an assortment of injuries, but all look relatively minor, so I wouldn’t expect any injury-related issues here with his medical, he said.

Also known to be very disciplined with his fitness, which would bode well.

The added advantage would be his years of experience in the Premier League, so that would mean he’d adapt quicker than players signed from foreign leagues.

Tottenham must sign players better than Grealish

Spurs secured Champions League football, so they can now attract players better than Grealish.

Since his big-money move from Aston Villa, the Englishman has failed to justify his price tag and has become a bit-part player at City.

If Tottenham are to become regulars in the Champions League, they can do far better than signing rejects from the Citizens.

Grealish might be talented, but there are plenty of wide players that can offer more and the recruitment team at the Lilywhites must cast their scouting net far and wide.
