Igor Tudor severance package already lined up as Tottenham expert shares next steps
Igor Tudor’s time at Tottenham is set to be short-lived, with a severance package already on the cards.
Tudor has taken on an interim role at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium to try and steer the Lilywhites clear of relegation.
Spurs currently sit 16th in the Premier League, four points above the drop zone with 10 matches left to play until the campaign concludes.
Speculation has been rife that he could be offered the Tottenham post if he can keep them up, but Mauricio Pochettino is the name on most supporters’ lips.

What are the next steps for Tottenham and Tudor?
John Wenham believes that there is no chance of the Croatian getting the job on a permanent basis in the summer.
He thinks that the club made it clear that he is only an interim appointment, and he will ride off into the sunset with a hefty fee if he keeps them in the division.
Speaking exclusively to Tottenham News, he said: “No, I don’t think there’s any chance of that.
“I can’t see Igor Tudor getting the job long term.
“It’s very much an interim basis, and if he can get us three, four, five wins between now and the end of the season, then he will have done his job well, and he can go with his reputation intact, and I’m sure a very decent severance package.

He’s on a short-term deal, they made it clear, and they got him. It is just until the end of the season, so there is no surprises there.”
Why Tudor may not even last the season
The 47-year-old may not even last until the end of the season at this rate.
He has lost his first two games in charge, both London derbies with Arsenal and Fulham and looks no closer to getting Spurs out of the relegation zone.
If they are in too precarious a position in the final weeks of the campaign, he may well be relieved of his duties by ENIC before his time in interim charge is finished.
They cannot afford to go down to the Championship, and if it looks like they are going to, they may have to make another change before it is too late.
