Fabio Paratici ‘to return and appoint big-name manager’ at Tottenham
Fabio Paratici is still expected to return to Tottenham despite recent reports stating otherwise.
Paratici previously held a position as managing director of football at Tottenham.
However, after he was banned from working in football for 30 months for his role in alleged false accounting at his former club, Juventus, Paratici was forced to resign from this position in April 2023.
Despite this, the Italian has been allowed to continue working as an external consultant to Daniel Levy, which has allowed him to assist Spurs in transfer windows since his departure from the club.
And it looks as though an official return to North London could be on the cards for the 52-year-old.

Levy ‘to reappoint Paratici at Tottenham’
With Paratici’s suspension set to end in June, it had been mooted that Levy could make him a big-money offer to return to Tottenham.
Following this, it emerged that Levy had held a meeting with Paratici [Radio Rossonera].
However, as reported by The Telegraph on Friday (28 March), these suggestions are wide of the mark, and Tottenham have not yet held talks with Paratici over an official return to the club.
Club | Role | Dates |
Sampdoria | Chief Scout | July 20024-June 2010 |
Juventus | Sporting Director | July 2010-May 2021 |
Tottenham | Sporting Director | July 2021-April 2023 |
Paratici has been eyeing up a range of possibilities, with Juventus and AC Milan both linked as well as Tottenham, as the official is keen to make a quick return to football.
However, Lilywhite Rose owner John Wenham – speaking exclusively to Tottenham News – believes Paratici will return to Tottenham, and his influence could help to facilitate discussions with a manager such as Xavi.
“I do think Paratici will return to Tottenham,” Wenham said.
“Matt Law’s report stated that Levy had not held talks with Paratici. However, Tottenham are probably just cautious of that information being out there at the moment. Therefore, if you ask me, I think Paratici will return.
“I don’t think it is irrelevant that he has been spotted running things behind the scenes at Tottenham during the length of his ban. I think he would be a welcome addition, and his return would help us to attract a big-name manager if Postecoglou is sacked.”
Paratici could prove useful to Tottenham
During his time at the club, Paratici helped Tottenham to attract a host of players as well as Antonio Conte, who is a very high-profile manager.
Therefore, his return could prove useful to Spurs, especially if Postecoglou is sacked.
