Exclusive: £50m Archie Gray claim as official Tottenham star announcement made
Archie Gray has arguably been the best player at Tottenham this season despite regularly starting out of position.
The 18-year-old has started as a centre-back for large spells of the season as injury concerns have forced Ange Postecoglou into making changes.
With that being said, the England under-21 international hasn’t been phased by this and has played at a top level despite making a jump to the Premier League.
The versatile youngster has now been valued at £50million after what was announced after a superb start to life in North London.

Archie Gray worth £50m after Tottenham award
It is representative of the work and performances of Gray that he was named as the Young Player of the Year at the London Football Awards.
This won’t come as a surprise to anyone associated with the Lilywhites to see the ex-Leeds United star win this award despite operating outside of his usual position.

It is safe to say that Spurs have an excellent prospect on their hands who any club across the world would be delighted to have in their ranks.
Former Brentford manager Martin Allen has suggested that there will be elite sides targeting his signature, which could see a deal in the region of £50m be struck.
“He’s been absolutely outstanding,” Allen told Tottenham News.
“I thought he’d play as a midfielder but he’s played as a centre back, obviously due to the injuries. He doesn’t get phased by it, he’s such a good player.
“He’s reliable, honest and comes from a great family. I think he’s only going to get better when he moves forward and gets to play in midfield.
“I thought he was a really good signing at £30m, what’s he worth now? I’d set a top target of £50m on him right now but there will be top clubs coming after him no doubt.“
Gray invaluable to Tottenham this season
Regardless of any potential interest in the youngster’s signature, there is no reason why Spurs would even think about selling him.
The Englishman has been superb this season despite deputising for Cristian Romero and van de Ven who have been typically excellent for the Lilywhites.
It is fair to say that Postecoglou will be keen to welcome the defensive duo back but that may prove to be beneficial for Gray moving forward.
If the youngster is this good while playing out of position, what level could he achieve in his natural position? It is certainly an exciting time in N17.
