Daniel Levy ‘to make Postecoglou sack decision at Tottenham in days’ – Exclusive
Tottenham boss Ange Postecoglou will soon be told by Daniel Levy what the future holds for him.
Postecoglou’s potential departure from Tottenham had felt inevitable for some time now as a result of the North London club’s abysmal domestic form.
However, the Australian has now etched his name in the history books at Tottenham after winning the UEFA Europa League and ending Spurs’ 17-year wait for a trophy.
Therefore, Levy has a big decision on his hands, and it doesn’t seem as though supporters will need to wait much longer to learn what that decision will be.

Levy to decide on Postecoglou after Tottenham v Brighton
Postecoglou and his players have been in celebration mode since beating Manchester United 1-0 at the Estadio de San Mamés on Wednesday (21 May) to win the Europa League.
However, there are still plenty of question marks over Postecoglou’s long-term future.

However, ex-Spurs scout Bryan King – speaking exclusively to Tottenham News – believes a decision won’t be made until after Spurs’ final Premier League match of the season, a meeting with Brighton at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium on Sunday (25 May).
“There is only one person who is going to make this decision, and that is Levy,” King said.
“Postecoglou has won a trophy as he said he would. It might not be the biggest trophy, but it does bring with it qualification for the Champions League. However, Spurs cannot finish in a similar position in the Premier League next season.
“Therefore, Levy needs to decide if he is going to keep Postecoglou or start afresh for the new season. He is the one who is going to make that decision. I would imagine that decision will be made straight after the Brighton game.
“Either they’ve got a new manager lined up, or they’re going to keep Postecoglou.”

Levy faces toughest decision yet on Postecoglou
Levy has sacked plenty of managers during his time as chairman of Tottenham. However, the decision to sack Postecoglou would be one of his toughest to date.
Getting rid of the man who ended the Lilywhites’ excruciating wait for a trophy is a bold decision, no matter how bad Spurs have been in the Premier League.
Therefore, Levy needs to think long and hard about what is best for Tottenham going forward.
