Daniel Levy to hand Ange Postecoglou increased transfer budget amid ‘Huge’ Tottenham boost
John Wenham believes Tottenham are set to be active in the summer transfer window after a recent development in North London.
The owner of the reputable Spurs podcast Lilywhite Rose feels that Ange Postecoglou’s side will be competing with some of the biggest clubs in Europe for players’ signatures this summer.
It comes after an application was submitted by the club to Haringey Council to increase the total number of non-football events they can host per year from 16 to 30
And Wenham – speaking exclusively to Tottenham News – claims that this will only lead to an increased transfer budget for Postecoglou.
“This will be a huge financial boost on top of the figures which were posted recently which demonstrate the upward trajectory the club is on,” Wenham said.
“I know that an overall loss was posted, but that is not of too much concern to me right now considering the loans that are being paid off.
“Daniel Levy and the club know what they’re doing, and we saw in January that Tottenham were able to compete with the likes of Barcelona and Bayern Munich for players.
“I expect that the club will operate in a similar vein this summer and Postecoglou will have more money to spend.”
Daniel Levy must back Ange Postecoglou at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium
Postecoglou has shown signs of promise this season, but there is still a long way to go.
If the Australian is to be a success in the Premier League, then he will need financial backing.
With the amount of money Levy is generating at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, it would be inexcusable if the Spurs chairman didn’t back his manager.

Spurs have been in desperate need of a long-term project for a few years now and they finally have the perfect opportunity to go on that journey.
Levy just needs to make sure he plays his part which will allow Postecoglou to play his.
In other Tottenham news, a transfer is still on despite a recent Fabrizio Romano update.
