Daniel Levy to agree deal with Sir Jim Ratcliffe amid multi-million INEOS news
Daniel Levy has been backed to soften a multi-million blow which could be delivered by INEOS to Tottenham.
Spurs supporters are quickly growing tired of Levy and ENIC amid beliefs in North London that footballing priorities have been neglected by those higher up at the club.
There have been calls for more protests to take place ahead of the Premier League clash with Manchester City at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium on Wednesday (26 February).
However, what fans cannot dispute, is that Levy has turned Tottenham into a commercial powerhouse.
And the 62-year-old has been backed to once again protect Spurs’ financial fortunes in North London.

INEOS seek to exit Tottenham sponsorship agreement
As reported by the Daily Mail (19 February), INEOS have held discussions with Spurs as they look to make an early exit from their sponsorship agreement with the North London club.
The five-year deal, signed in 2022, is thought to be worth several millions per season.
Therefore, ex-Spurs scout Bryan King – speaking exclusively to Tottenham News – expects Levy to seek a compensation payment, and look to come to an agreement with INEOS Chairman Sir Jim Ratcliffe.
“We’ve seen a lot of cost-cutting at Manchester United,” King said.
“Therefore, Ratcliffe is obviously looking at his sponsorship agreements. This deal with Spurs was agreed upon before INEOS got involved with United, where they’re cutting back on everything from staff to facilities. Therefore, it wouldn’t surprise me that Ratcliffe is looking to take the money that is going to Spurs to put it into his own football club.
“However, knowing what Levy is like, he will want a compensation package to end this deal early, that is for sure. That compensation package would be to cover at least 75 per cent of the money they were expecting from INEOS.”
Tottenham Chairman Levy ‘to agree deal with Ratcliffe’
Levy is constantly searching for ways to generate big paydays at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.
Therefore, it is very unlikely that the Spurs chairman is going to simply let INEOS walk away from a multi-million contract. As a result, it looks as though Ratcliffe might need to make some sort of payment to end this sponsorship deal early.
However, fans will only be interested in developments such as these if the money is being reinvested into the playing squad. Ange Postecoglou’s side have struggled in the Premier League this season, and it is clear that investment is needed.

Tottenham | 25 | 9 | 3 | 13 | +12 |
Therefore, Levy needs to use all of the money he’s making and begin to demonstrate more ambition in the transfer market.
