Ange Postecoglou sack: Tottenham ready to appoint ‘higher-calibre manager’
Tottenham could already be looking at their next possible manager to replace Ange Postecoglou.
The Australian and Spurs are in Germany, looking to overcome Eintracht Frankfurt to reach the semi-finals of the Europa League, with the aggregate sitting at 1-1.
Bodo/Glimt or Lazio would then sit between Tottenham and the final of the competition, which grants immediate qualification for the Champions League next season.

Postecoglou still set for Tottenham sack
Even if Postecoglou lifts European silverware and secures Champions League again, he could still be sacked by Daniel Levy, with a rift growing in North London.
Dan Plumley has insisted that qualifying for the Champions League would allow Spurs to attract a “higher-quality” manager.
The football finance expert admits that the biggest managers want to be in the best competitions.
“It’s been a horrible season,” Plumley exclusively told Tottenham News.
“If the bottom three hadn’t been so far adrift, they’d have been in a relegation scrap.
“If the silver lining at the end of the season is a Europa League win, which puts you in the Champions League and you are looking at changing your manager, then absolutely, that does enable you to try and attract a higher calibre manager.
“We know nowadays that they want to manage in the biggest leagues in the world, but also the Champions League comes on top of that as well.
“If that is to happen and they do get rid of Postecoglou, then you would be looking to attract a higher quality manager, if you have Champions League football to offer.”

Levy hits boiling point at Tottenham
With protests against his running of the club and Postecoglou clashing with fans, it is usually the manager who falls victim of that.
Marco Silva appears to be the frontrunner to take over from Fulham, but if Champions League football is secured, more ambitious targets would emerge.

With an unlikely victory in Germany on Thursday, Spurs would likely become favourites to reach the Europa League final.
Lazio struggled in Norway, leaving Bodo/Glimt in prime position to go through, something Tottenham and Postecoglou would surely fancy.
