Amanda Staveley to become regular at Tottenham after the Lewis family open door
Tottenham have been shrouded in speculation regarding a potential takeover in recent weeks.
Daniel Levy’s departure has prompted plenty of suggestions that the Lewis family could be looking to sell their controlling stake, even though they are insistent that they have no intention of selling.
Tottenham knocked back Amanda Staveley’s expression of interest regarding a potential deal, meaning that she and her PIF International investment group now face a wait of three months before they can take further action.
The former Newcastle United director may have been unsuccessful in her first attempt to buy the Lilywhites, but it looks unlikely that she will fade into the background any time soon.

Amanda Staveley will attend more events at Tottenham
Staveley was in attendance at Tottenham on 5 October for the latest NFL fixture to be hosted in N17, in what was something of a surprise appearance given her recent links.
The 52-year-old was a “surprise” VIP guest for the fixture between the Minnesota Vikings and the Cleveland Browns, according to Alan Nixon via his Patreon account.
Staveley and her backers are continuing to show an interest in a potential deal for Spurs, particularly if the price is right for them.
Finance expert Dan Plumley – speaking exclusively to Tottenham News – believes that she is likely to become a regular attendee at events held at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.
“She’s going to be at more of these events connected to Tottenham, and the NFL is an example of that,” Plumley said.
“We know her track record and her backstory in football. We know the Newcastle story, and we know that she’s still interested in being involved in an ownership group.

“Whenever you’ve got all of those things in the mix, you’re going to get speculation, and it will be a name that continues to be linked. As we are right now, a deal hasn’t been done, and until that happens, then nothing changes too much from the club’s point of view.”
Recent Spurs investment doesn’t point to Lewis family stance changing
The Lewis family continue to pump money into Tottenham, as a fresh £100million was injected into the club this week ahead of the January transfer window.
The majority shareholders have strenuously denied any suggestion that they could soon sell the club, and their latest investment certainly doesn’t suggest that their stance will change any time soon.
Obviously, there is always an amount of money that is likely to tempt them into at least discussing a sale, but for now, at least, they would surely have little interest in providing additional funds if they were planning to move on.
