Tottenham must greenlight exit after Randal Kolo Muani transfer

Tottenham must seek a loan exit for Will Lankshear if they complete the signing of Randal Kolo Muani, regular game time must be considered for the 19-year-old.

Spurs will be looking to utilise the January transfer window and links to PSG forward Kolo Muani refuse to go away [Give Me Sport].

However, if Spurs are to sign the Frenchman, it would push Lankshear even further down the pecking order with a January loan already mooted for the forward.

The opportunity to get regular game time lower down the divisions would benefit all parties and the exposure to senior football would only serve as a positive going forward.

Lankshear to depart Tottenham in January?

Given his already lack of involvement which has seen him play just nine minutes of Premier League football, any attacking reinforcements recruited this month will curtail any hopes of him having an impact this season.

Which on paper, isn’t a bad thing given his experience and the fact he is very much seen as a player for the future but decisions off the pitch can still play a crucial role in his development.

A loan move would be perfect for the striker and will help paint a clearer picture of where he is in terms of being able to have an impact at Spurs.

Whether that would be a Championship move or lower is yet to be seen, but the first consideration has to be how much game time he will receive.

If a club make a suitable offer this month and if Kolo Muani does sign, a loan move simply must be considered.

In other Tottenham news, this player could leave in January if a suitable offer is made.
