Yves Bissouma should pack his bags as Tottenham have been handed a fresh transfer deadline for the summer window.

The Mali international has been one of the most frustrating figures at the North London outfit due to his inconsistency.

Bissouma has shown glimpses of his talent at Spurs, but it wouldn't be surprising to see him leave in the coming months after his underwhelming displays this season.

Ange Postecoglou has relied on Rodrigo Bentancur as his defensive midfielder this season, leaving the former Brighton ace struggling to get into the starting lineup.

The Lilywhites also have James Maddison, Pape Matar Sarr and Lucas Bergvall at their disposal in the engine room.

Postecoglou has also experimented with Dejan Kulusevski in the middle of the park, and the move has mostly been fruitful for the Swedish star.

The Australian manager has struggled to get the best out of the North London outfit, though, as they sit 13th in the Premier League table.

Injuries haven't helped the former Celtic boss' cause at Tottenham, and Bissouma has been one of the players prone to fitness issues over the years.

Real Betis hand Spurs Johnny Cardoso transfer deadline

Spurs are interested in Johnny Cardoso and have been handed a deadline to trigger their purchase option for the Real Betis defensive midfielder, according to TBR Football.

The news outlet reports (5 March) that the North Londoners have until 10 July to sign the 23-year-old for £20.8million.

It has been reported that a deal will likely be done due to the opportunity the Lilywhites have on their hands.

Spurs will also be encouraged to learn that the USA international is keen on moving to the North London outfit and is confident to perform well.

Daniel Levy needs to back Postecoglou in the summer transfer window, and the Cordoso deal is one that wouldn't involve spending a lot of money.

The Australian manager should be handed a revamped squad ahead of next season in order to get the best out of the Lilywhites.

Spur have several unreliable players at the moment who must be sold next summer, and Cordoso should be one of many signings that Levy sanctions soon.
