Tottenham shock emerges after 'crazy' Jamie Donley development at Leyton Orient
John Wenham cannot believe that on-loan Tottenham forward Jamie Donley is missing out on the Leyton Orient matchday squads.
The owner of the reputable Spurs podcast Lilywhite Rose thinks the 19-year-old is one of the best footballers in Leyton Orient's ranks.
Donley has been absent from the last two matchday squads for Leyton Orient in League One.
And Wenham - speaking exclusively to Tottenham News - cannot understand why this is the case.
“It is absolutely crazy what has happened to Donley,” Wenham said.
“He was told when he went there that he would be a key player for them. Therefore, for him to now not be featuring at all just seems mad to me.
“They’re going into games with three centre-backs on the bench and the manager is then moaning about a lack of attacking options when Donley isn’t being picked. It beggars belief.
“Donley just has to be patient and wait for his chance. When he does get it, I’m sure he will take it because he’s an outstanding player, and probably one of the best players Leyton Orient have in their squad.”

It seemed as though Donley had made such a bright start at Leyton Orient after what was being said behind the scenes. However, things have become difficult for the young Spurs star.
Wenham has urged Donley to be patient and bide his time. After what has happened to fellow Spurs youngster Josh Keeley in recent weeks at Orient, Donley could yet turn things around.
However, if he doesn't, Ange Postecoglou will need to intervene.
The Australian won't want one of Spurs' most talented young players wasting away in the reserves of a League One club as this could only be bad for his development.
Therefore, if nothing changes soon, Donley might have to be recalled.
