Bryan King believes Daniel Levy could be forced to accept a multi-million loss on Tottenham forward Bryan Gil.

The ex-Spurs scout feels that now is the time for the 23-year-old to move on from North London.

It comes after Sky Sports News' Dharmesh Sheth suggested that Gil will be keen to leave Tottenham this summer (via Transfer Talk on Spotify, 7 May).

Spurs paid £21.6million to bring Gil to North London (Sky Sports News, 26 July 2021), and King - speaking exclusively to Tottenham News - has questioned what kind of fee the club will get back for the Spaniard.

"It is important that Spurs sell Gil this summer," King said.

"But what kind of money will they get for him? He has hardly played this season, so they can't demand massive money.

"If they were to receive anything over £15million I'm sure they would be well-pleased."

Bryan Gil has no future at Tottenham under Ange Postecoglou

Gil has hardly been offered an opportunity at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium this season.

It is clear that Postecoglou is not a fan, and now would be the best time for the winger to move on.

Gil is still young and could yet create a fantastic career for himself.

There is no point in him sitting around and collecting dust in North London.

As for Spurs, his sale could provide a tidy financial boost.
