Tottenham insider reveals Destiny Udogie exit talk at Tottenham as Juventus named

Serie A giants Juventus have shown an interest in left-back Destiny Udogie, Tottenham News understands.

Spurs signed Udogie from Serie A side Udinese for £15million ahead of the 2022/23 season getting underway (Sky Sports News, 16 August 2022).

Udogie was sent back to Udinese on loan for the 2022/23 season, joining Spurs last summer when Ange Postecoglou arrived at the club.

The Italian has so far been a standout performer during his debut season in the Premier League, with his brilliant form being rewarded with a contract extension in North London, committing him to the club until 2030 (Tottenham Hotspur Official Website, 12 December 2023).

That form has also attracted interest from clubs around Europe, particularly back in Italy.

A recruitment source with close links to Spurs and the Italian market has exclusively revealed to Tottenham News that both Juventus and Inter Milan have shown an interest in Udogie.

It has been said that Udogie has "proved his worth" in the Premier League, with two of Italy's biggest clubs now interested in bringing him back to his home country.

Tottenham News understands that clubs from Spain and France have also expressed an interest in the 21-year-old.

Udogie has made 26 appearances for Tottenham, scoring twice and providing three assists.

The defender made his international debut this season, coming off the bench in the 79th minute to provide an assist as Italy beat Malta 4-0 (14 October 2023), and has gone on to earn a further two caps for his country.

Udogie has plenty of experience in Serie A, having played 74 times in Italy's top flight before his move to England.
